After 16 closely fought matches it is all over for another round. Thank you all very much for taking part and for all your hard work in arranging so many matches. We do hope you enjoyed it.

There will be another round running 15 Nov 2010 to 23 Jan 2011 if enough people would like oo play. You can re-join here -  no need to re-do the form.

A poster for the next round is attached. If you can print it out and put it up anywhere, we would be very grateful. We are keen to grow bigger and even better, so do tell your tennis-loving freindsa and colleagues.

But now, without further ado, our winner is. . . .

GROUP ONE: Darrel St Croix
Darrel made his league debut this round and very successful it was too. He played every match he could, won them all and got his bonus points. It doesn’t get much better than that.  A very impressive performance – well played.  Newcomer Tom has also been a great addition to the league, and ran Darrel close, especially in their own head to head, which went to a first set tie break. There was a three way tie on points for third place, and everyone who played got their bonus points. Unfortunately, lack of time scuppered Martin Janousek’s campaign this round, and Nii struggled with illness and injury. But over all, a great keenly fought round, with much fine tennis Well played all!

You get one point for every match you complete, one point for every set you win and two bonus points if you complete 3 matches by the mid way point.
