Round Four

Thank you all for supporting the league. We are as ever very grateful for the hard work you put in scheduling your matches and for your efforts on court.
GROUP ONE
Winner: Sanj Sehota
This round was dominated by Sanj, who won all four of his matches and collected his bonus points for a resounding win. However, he had to work very hard for his wins, particularly agaisnt Sizwe and Stephen, who took him to three sets in their matches. Sanj said of his win over Stephen:
"Steve and Sanj started the match on Saturday and Steve was well on top until Sanj did a secret Rain Dance in the drinks break. Continuing the following day, the second set was a tight affair with most games going to deuce but Sanj just about won it 7-5. The third set was also won by Sanj 6-1, but who knows what would have happened if the rain hadn't interrupted the match on Saturday?"
Sizwe finished as runner-up after two wins from three matches, but with only six matches completed in the group there was no stopping Sanj. Can he defend his title next time round?
