In Group 4, Jens Apel and Nathan White both tied with 6 points. However, as Jens beat Nathan, he carries of the prize this time. A special mention for Helen Murdoch, though, whose match against Ben Thomas (which she ultimately won) looked like an absolute cracker.
Group 3 provided a clear winner but it was a close run thing. By
playing one more match, David Wood took his challenge as far as he could, but in the end Cyprian Laskowski's impressive five straight-set wins made him the undefeated champion with 12 points.
In Group 2 Miguel Vega Perez could have caught Jackson Pauls if he had played and won one more match. But Jackson's determination was abundantly demonstrated in his tight three-setter against Miguel (which Jackson won). All of which makes Jackson a very worthy group winner, and the league's first double champion. Jackson was the Group 3 winner in Round 1.
Group 1 provided some excellent tennis with every player claiming
their bonus points. In the end the honours go to the one unbeaten
player in the group, Sebastien Augier. Like Cyp in Group 3, Seb didn't drop a set. A great performance.
