Along side the Highbury Fields Tennis League, there are a number of individuals and organisations that run tennis courses, lessons and opportunities to play on the Fields. Together they make up a formidable range of tennis talent! We are keen to list as many of them here as possible - if you would like to be added, please let us know!

Opportunities for chldren and Juniors
After school groups run every day from 4pm except tuesdays (stopping after Christmas and re-starting late February). Chhildren's ages range from 4 - 16yrs I stop the kids after school groups post Christmas and re start late February.
Team Tennis
The Highbury Tennis Club fields three ladies and two men's teams playing competitive doubles in the LTA run Middlesex league. This competition runs from spring into late summer.
Highbury Fields Tennis Club also fields two ladies and one men's team into the middlesex Winter league (October - March).
Teams from the Fields also play in the local LTA doubles competitions.

Ladies Team: Trains on Saturday mornings. Players are invited to try out for a place in the squads during October and November. Contact Wendy Proudfoot (see above) if you'd like to be considered.
The Saturday Morning Mix-in
Open to all. Friendly mixed doubles bwetween 11am and 1pm every Saturday on courts five and six. Court costs shared by the players. This Highbury Fields regular event set up by Jill McLaughlin, has been running for nearly ten years and the Highbury Fields Tennis League orginally grew out of it. All are welcome and no need to book a place - the players pride themselves on adapting the match formats to ensure no-one sits out too long.
Annual Tournament
Highbury Fields Tennis Tournament, sponsored by Hotblack Desiatio, Islington Enterprise & many local families. Held every year in June, singles doubles and junior events. Open to all. Always held on a Sunday in mid to late June. See notice boards in late May for details.
